Flame Kasperski addon for Outlook

I just spent over two hours (today and yesterday) trying to get rid of Kasperki's addin for outlook. The method that worked for me was:

"Open up Outlook 2007>tools>trust center>add-ins...At the bottom of the menu you'll see "manage" and in the drop down box select "Exchange Client Extensions" then "GO" and simply uncheck the "Kaspersky Mail Checker" then "OK"....No more of that pesky/persky error after that...:-) :-)"

Why does Outlook need to have 3 different addin methodologies?
1. Tool->Add-ins list of addins.
2. Tool->Add-ins->Com add-ins
3. Tool->Add-ins->Exchange client Extensions.
From a user point of view, there are just extensions. We shouldn't have to have a PHD in Outlook in order to do such a simple task!
