Anne Frank and her family were also denied entry as refugees to the U.S.

The following is my response to the  Washington Post 11/24/2015 article "Anne Frank and her family were also denied entry as refugees to the U.S." Which is a tear jerking left wing attempt to paint all those who are careful with immigrants as heartless monsters uncaring about human life.
The only parallel between the US actions in WWII and todays actions in Syria are that in both occasions the US refused to use force to safeguard oppressed and endangered people. Eisenhower refused to bomb the train tracks leading to Auschwitz, even though bombs were available, and he was made aware of the plight of the Jews. Obama refuses to create a safe no-fly zone in Syria, even though this would not be difficult to do, or require ground troops.

Jews, in WWII time frame did not have a fanatic subgroup thirsting for German blood, they did not engage in terrorism, they were lambs led to the slaughter. Syrians do have such a subgroup. Its called Al Qaeda, ISIS, etc. and just a few errors can cause hundreds of dead to this country. 9 killed 3K civilians in the US, 8 killed over 100 in France and 1 or 2 caused Belgium to close down for 5 days. How much collateral damage do we need to accept to be "humanitarian" instead of creating a safe zone in Syria? How much collateral damage do the poor civilians of Syria accept before Assad, who has killed over 300K of them, and displace over 2 million is overthrown?
