Response to Wikileaks

While my first response to Wikileaks was indeed "Kill the bastard," on further thought, I liked the fact that the facade over our Middle Eastern Policies, and those of our "Allies" have been exposed.  It is perhaps time that posturing in foreign affairs be replaced with clarity, and these papers certainly expose the hypocrisy of ourselves and our allies in foreign affairs.

I am not sure I know how to reconcile the fact that I rejoice when hypocrisy is revealed, and cringe/cry when good people are exposed to danger.
It is time for our government’s internal and external affairs to be transparent; for our real goals to be revealed and explained, for our friends and foes to know where we stand, and for us to do our best to expose their hypocrisy as well.  It is also time to declare open season on enemies who endanger our troops and friends, to make them pay for their offenses by removing them with extreme prejudice.
